Gail can prepare REAL international cuisine with original recipes from Europe, Latin America and the Virgin Islands. Both Tony and Gail have traveled extensively all over the world and stayed in the best hotels and know what a class act is and what constitutes outstanding service. They are by nature, multiculturally sensitive, and they can relate to people from different walks of life, different cultures and communicate effectively with them. They can converse intelligently with mature individuals on almost any topic.

A Warm Home Atmosphere

On board La Princesa, guests can be themselves and not just paying
customers. They will become part of a sophisticated cruising family and feel absolutely free to participate (or not) in the daily boat activities, entertainment, etc. A boat where the crew genuinely enjoys what it's doing and it shows.

Flexibility of Accommodation

La Princesa's second guest stateroom can convert to two single berths or it can become a queen sized bed. La Princesa also has a convertible queen-sized sofa-bed in the saloon for those extra, last minute children or grandchildren.

We provide a keyboard and an acoustic guitar plus various Latin American Percussion instruments for our own and our guests'
pleasure. We have an incredible number of CDs from all over the world, including Latin American Music, Jazz, Pop and Classical.

We Welcome Children

Hazel is a trained child minder from new-borns to 12
years; she is really good with kids; we can take some of the child minding pressure off families that join us with children or grand-children. Hazel also underwent CPR training and life saving skills in the US Army. For children under 12 years of age we offer a special menu suited to their tastes, if required. Also, if required, Hazel will prepare early dinners for toddlers or children under 6 years and will provide babysitting services if the parents would like to go ashore.






 

 



The Master Stateroom is furthest aft with a walk-around queen berth on the centerline with predominantly white bed shams that match the drapes. Hitachi TV to Starboard. Copious storage in drawers port and starboard and in the walk-in closet forward to port. There are portlights port and starboard, and at the transom above the berth. En-suite head with shower stall.

Next forward and to port is the Guest Stateroom with twin berths convertible to a single queen sized bed athwart ship (with drawer storage under), hanging locker and portlights. Across the passageway is the guest head with sink and shower stall.


The passageway continues forward and between the main engines—up 3 steps to the Galley/Dinette area.  Forward of the Galley is the Crew’s Quarters with it’s upper/lower berths offset to starboard and the en-suite head (with it’s separate shower stall) to port. There are light-tackle rod holders mounted to the overhead.  The Frigidaire stacked washer/dryer is in a locker aft of the bunks.  The original Afromosia paneling and teak joinerwork are still in place.



The down galley features a GE refrigerator/freezer, McGraw-Edison Modern Maid 4-burner stove and oven, Magic Chef dishwasher, Stainless Steel sink, garbage disposal, and Kenmore microwave oven. Across to starboard is the dinette that will convert to a double bunk that sleeps two. Again, the factory original Formica and Afromosia and teak trim are in great condition. The 15.0 KW Generator lives in a hushbox beneath the galley sole.

Up five steps to the salon, which appears in its original state. Very large windows provide a 360-degree panorama. Both salon and aft deck side windows have anti-rattle mini blinds. The helm station is forward with sliding doors that open to both of the side decks. The lack of a helm bench seat greatly adds to the spaciousness of the salon. There are two rattan chairs to starboard and a sofa-sleeper to port. Against the starboard aft corner is the entertainment equipment: Sony TV, Toshiba DVD player, Yamaha tuner, and VCR.

Double doors open out to the aft deck. There are two bench seats along the transom with a single-pedestal adjustable dining table in front. Four directors chairs complete the recreational/dining area. The entire area is carpeted. Against the bulkhead to port is the wet bar which includes a U-Line icemaker. To starboard is the ladder to the flybridge. Wing doors open out to the side decks. Side windows are sliding glass and there are Isinglass curtains aft with u-zips.  A hinged taff rail gate allows access to the ladder leading to the swim platform.
